Screen formats

Screens are an indispensable element in the presentation of movies, it doesn't matter how good the projector quality is, the images should be perfectly projected. Screens should reflect the visual information without any lost of quality as well as they should distribute light perfectly.

Aspect ratio.- The aspect ratio of an image is defined as the displayed width divided by its height, which can be expressed as " x:y " or x×y.". Most of the movies today are presented either in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, using the 35-mm frame, or in the aspect ratio of 1.85:1 which is achieved by cropping the standard 35-mm frame top and bottom. In Europe, people usually use the 1.66:1 aspect ratio.
