In 1999, founders Darrin Fletcher and Chet Thomas endeavored to create a new way of teaching students. It wasn't enough to just deliver the information, it had to be entertaining while still being educational. Because of their experience as filmmakers, their journey led them to develop a working curriculum that instructs students through an Interactive Online Text book. With this tool, teachers and students have the opportunity to be instructed by industry professionals at anytime of the day or night through downloadable interviews.
Teachers are free from tests, quizzes and paperwork, which are delivered via the internet with the result viewed through an online instructor's grade book. The performance of any teacher or student can then be cross referenced with other schools, districts or states in real time.
