International Film & Video Workshops
Welcome to an international center for the world's filmmakers: producers, directors, cinematographers, editors, actors, writers and camera crews. For 26 years, The Workshops has been a leading center for training and education in all areas of film., video and television.
We offer:
* 150 one and two-week workshops and master classes each Summer and Fall
* 4-Week Filmmaking School
* One-year Professional Certificate Program in Filmmaking
* Two-year Associate of Arts degree and a 3-year Master of * Fine Arts degree programs are available through Rockport College.
We offer workshops in the latest technology; 16mm and 35mm film cameras, DV, Betacam and HDTV video; Avid Certified Training, Final Cut Pro weekend crash courses, plus workshops and master classes for writers, actors, producers, editors, cinematographers, documentary and dramatic filmmakers from around the world.
Master Faculty
The Workshops? faculty includes many distinguished Academy and Emmy Award-wining Writers, Directors, Producers, Actors, Cinematographers and Editors -- working professionals who take a week or two out of their professional lives to share their techniques, expertise and experience with a select group of filmmakers.
The Faculty members listed in this catalogue have either taught this class before, or have agreed to teach a specific workshop - pending their availability - this summer. Should a professional commitment make it impossible for any of them to attend, other instructors of similar credentials will lead the class.
