Television and Video Communications
All of our academic programs are designed to integrate high quality career preparation with a solid foundation in the liberal arts.
We offer an education focused on the whole person—on your intellectual, spiritual, and personal development—so that you will not only be prepared to enter the world of work but also to face the future with the tools to succeed in all you set your heart on.
Recognizing students need to learn in a professional environment, the University established Madonna Magazine in 1985. Students who complete all of the production courses have 45 broadcast television programs to their credit to include in job resumes.
The Television and Video Communications major prepares students for entry into the video production field through a program of study emphasizing hands-on experience using state-of-the-art equipment and requiring core courses in single and multiple camera production, editing, telecommunications, scripting and budgeting for television.
