Realisation of Television, Film and Photo Image

The programme offers an imaginative and practical application of ideas through film, video and television as a central concern. It also gives opportunities to explore the creative potential of new technologies and emerging channels of communication.

The high academic level of teaching is largely due to the adopted method of teaching based on close links between teachers and students called "the master and his follower" model. The K. Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television has promoted within its graduates a number of well-known directors, producers, and camera operators whose work has made a significant contribution to the Polish cultural heritage.

BA studies last 6 semesters. In During the course of studies, students, as camera operators, prepare individually prepare film shooting exercises, and etude shots, make television shots in a TV pick- up station, or in a studio. The best of the student’s accomplishments productions take part at home and overseas are included in domestic and foreign presentations. The BA defence consists of TV or film etude’s shot and a written theoretical article in writing.

In practice, studies of in Realisation of TV, Film and Photo Image is to prepare graduates for work in the following professions: a Cameraman of feature, documentary films, cartoons, and adverts on photosensitive and magnetic mediums of communication, a TV producer, photographer, and press photographer.
