BA Hons Film Production (F)
This long-established degree course in film-making will equip you with skills in 16mm and digital video production.From the outset, you will work with 16mm film in a purpose-built studio, editing on Steenbecks and digital formats. Working in this way, you will learn about the materiality and craft of film-making, as well as the creation of meaning.

You will have the opportunity to specialise in a key area of film production, such as camera, sound, editing, production or production design. Alongside group productions, you will learn about screenwriting, directing actors, film theory and film grammar whilst developing skills which prepare you for a career in the industry or further study.

MA Film & Video (F)
The MA in Film & Video course builds upon the strengths of the undergraduate courses in Film & Video and Digital Screen Arts. Our staff have particular strengths in supporting issue-based documentary and short, fictional moving image work.

The areas of independent study that can be supported and encouraged at MA project level are:

- Documentary research and production
- Short fiction scripting and production
- Digital time-based arts and imaging
- New media theory
