The Film and media business offers many professional and creative avenues for those who wish to pursue a career in the industry. One of the biggest barriers facing individual interests in doing so is a general lack of information and understanding about these individual career options and the skill sets and background necessary to pursue them.

The Atlantica College's Certificate Course in Film and Media Production is designed to give students a fundamental overview of the vaious disciplines and processes involved in both dramatic and documentary film and media projects.

It offers students an intensive introduction to writing, directing, producing, cinematography/videography, art direction, sound and post production - all vital elements in this most collaborative of all art forms. During the course of the term, experts in various fields also offer seminars spotlighting individual aspects of these various disciplines. Students will work collaboratively on both their own and assigned projects, rotating production roles as they gain hands-on experience and insight into the many and varied aspects of film and media production.
