FilmFarm Centre in association with the Polish Cultural Institute, London Film Academy and Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing presents a screening of an exquisite selection of students’ films followed by a discussion with internationally renowned filmmakers. The three schools join in the discussion how they prepare young generation of filmmakers to work in the international arena.

FilmFarm is a boot camp and a retreat and a place for workshops and creative thinking.

FilmFarm presents a unique opportunity for directors, actors, writers and producers to exchange thoughts and experiences on the art of filmmaking.

FilmFarm is one of the activities undertaken on the premises of an estate in northern Silesia, Poland, dating to the late 1600s. Acquired by the Klich family in 2000 for the main reason of saving it from disintegration, the estate is gradually being pieced back together, thanks to an investment of time, love and money. Some questioned the sense of this adventure, only to finally acknowledge that the responsibility for saving something beautiful, once assumed, gives incredible satisfaction. Romanticism need not make a lot of business sense.
