University of the Arts (London College of Communication)

Formerly known as the London College of Printing, LCC is the largest constituent College of the University of the Arts London and our students automatically become members of Europe's largest university dedicated to art, communication, design and related technologies. University status was awarded following our long run of outstanding evaluations of teaching quality, and our sector-leading research performance.

The College has around 9,000 students, of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. This is a diversity which adds to the unique feel of this special and specialist College. Our staff include successful practitioners in London's thriving design, photography, broadcasting, publishing, advertising, film, printing, retailing and media industries.

The London College of Communication is more single minded than a large, multi-faculty university. All students share our passion for the communication of ideas and images and the distribution of products and images.

As well as being enthusiastic about our subjects and our courses, we are also proud of our London base. The College is located in a central yet affordable area of London. We list the London Eye, the Southbank Film, Art and Theatre Complex, and the Tate Modern amongst our near neighbours, yet we are close to some of the University's best halls of residence, and some excellent private student accommodation.
