Metropolitan Film School

The Metropolitan Film School is the UK's leading film school for individuals who are looking to launch a career in the film industry. We're based at Ealing Studios, the world-famous home of British cinema. There are no academic entry requirements - we are more interested in your passion, talent and determination to succeed.

We have a variety of full-time and part-time programmes to fit your needs, whether you're a school leaver looking for an intensive one-year course, a graduate looking to build on your academic experience with a highly practical filmmaking programme, or a working professional considering a change in career direction...

We believe that the best way to learn filmmaking is to make films, with the support and guidance of experienced industry practitioners.
Our philosophy has three core tenets:

* Active Participatory Learning
* Professional Development
* Self-Exploration

Our modern premises and facilities are located within the world-famous Ealing Studios in West London. Ealing Studios is best-known for productions in the 1940s and 1950s such as The Ladykillers, The Lavender Hill Mob and Kind Hearts and Coronets.

In recent years Ealing Studios have been used for high-profile productions such as Star Wars: Episode Two, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, The Importance of Being Earnest, Notting Hill and Woody Allen’s latest feature film, Wasp.
